Sharing Your Treasure
Everything we have, all that we are, and all that we will become is a gift from Almighty God. As stewards of those gifts, we are called to return those gifts to God in gratitude for His great bounty. There are many avenues to give of your financial resources.

Cash Contributions: Unrestricted gifts of cash/checks is the most popular way to share your financial resources. These gifts of cash are usually given through the weekly collections at Mass each week.  Gifts of cash to Corpus Christi qualify as charitable deductions for federal income tax purposes.

Electronic ContributionsGifts to Corpus Christi can be made electronically through the use of a credit card or electronic funds transfer from a donor’s checking or savings account. Contributions to other giving areas may also be made electronically. Follow the link WeShare to make a donation.

Matching GiftsMany businesses have matching gift programs that multiply employee contributions by two or more times. Some companies match the gifts of spouses and retirees as well. Matching gift forms can usually be obtained from the company’s human resource department and should be sent to Corpus Christi with your gift.

SecuritiesGifts of securities, can be made to benefit the parish. This type of gift may be tax-deductible and the donor may avoid paying capital gains tax on the appreciated stock or security, consult with your tax adviser. Contact the parish office for more information.

Planned Givingis an area of fundraising that refers to several specific gift types that can be funded with cash, equity, or property.  A donor usually considers a current gift to the parish  as a cash outlay now. To make a deferred gift, a person decides to give at some future date, either a number of years from now or at death. A deferred gift is a present decision to make a future gift, evidenced by a legal contract. Before making a planned gift, donors should consult their attorney and/or financial adviser for tax information specific to their circumstances. Contact the parish office for more information.

Shopping Cent$

What is Shopping Cent$
This is a fundraising program where we buy gift certificates and gift cards from local grocery stores, restaurants, department, and specialty stores at a discount. In turn, we sell the certificates and gift cards to you at their face value. The difference between what we pay and what you pay is the profit we get to keep. It costs you nothing extra. You are simply changing the way you pay for things at your favorite stores.
This parish-based program is one of the largest of its kind with over 70 participating stores who give us from 2% to 20% of each certificate sold. See the ORDER FORM, many of these certificates are regularly kept in stock. We make this an easy program in which you can be a regular participant. Each certificate sold benefits our school, it's like getting FREE money.
The easy way to increase your financial support of St. John's Pastoral Area School without spending an extra cent!
Purchase after all weekend Masses on all Sundays except the 1st Sunday of the month.
